hello, this package has multiple issues with licensing
1. the cdb long description states CC-BY-SA-NC while the package info states CC-BY-SA-4.0
2. in the mcl_extra_ver readme, it states a dual licensing (that may not actually work), however trying to limit derivatives/redistribution is not allowed, see https://content.minetest.net/policy_and_guidance/ section 4.1
3. in the mcl_crimson_extras readme, it says the code is not licensed, this is not allowed on cdb
4. mcl_amethyst_extras has the same issues as point #2
5. some of mcl_cimson_extras textures appears to be derived from mcl, however this is not cited at all
I will fix these issues.
On the dual Licensing aspect, everything that I read online, and what I learned talking to an online legal firm, one is allowed to dual license open source code. Dunno if that helps, or if that's not the issue.
Also, when I went to do the latest package, it already had a loaded zipfile, so it may not actually have grabbed the changes that I made right before trying to make the release. But, nary the point, I will make a new one with the required changes.
Specifically made sure that things are GPL3 / CC BY-SA 4.0 (international). Specifically granted express permission for ContentDB & Minetest Engine to distribute the modpack and all modules within. Also fixed the long description for the package.
Did my best to source the Warped Items' textures original creators, it seems that the mineclone 2 project has lost the citations for the specific images, so I cited their credits file's textures section.
The reasoning for the dual licensing is that I don't want the mods in the package to be arbitrarily stolen and made part of Mineclone2, without me knowing about it, and being able to decide for myself. The new maintainership for the project believes that no one has rights to their work, especially those "artsy types like [me]". In fact, it has been the source of a lot of contention and drama, even though they do not have anything to states that contributors agree to forfeit over their copyrights to the Mineclone 2 Organization. They just steal it, and claim it as their own.
Anyway, I am submitting the new package for approval. Thank you for taking the time to review it.
The GPL does not allow you to impose additional restrictions on the license except for a few cases covered by section 7. Your additional terms are not allowed by the GPL
Additionally, some of the restrictions you impose are not allowed by ContentDB. You cannot prevent mod packs or organisations from including your mod or allow revocation at any time.
Just in case it doesn't notify you of newly submitted releases for review, I submitted one for approval 7 hours ago, at the time of writing the thank you.

rule 4.1 https://content.minetest.net/policy_and_guidance/ still exists
Noted. How about now?

I understand. Thank you for explaining.
