Oups I thought it was already done, but I forgot to add the license with the read me file.
About license also, but for artwork, I chose lal but it is not listed in choices so I set MIT to match with code.
In the distro I use, there is a copy of common licenses shared to all packages. The package can avoid to include the license and a link to the matching license is set in documentation folder. I which there was a similar way to do with minetest mods.
I awfully regret to refuse myself to set GPL for mods, when they are small mod, including such large file can use more kb than the full mod itself.
If no copy, GPL is violated, a link to the copy could handle this case.
About MIT i'm not even sure a simple link is not valid.
I'm not a specialist about licenses, but really it's hard time for me to choose licence for minetest mods.
GPL for mods allowing a hyperlink to real license file would be such a nice thing, but that's out of this scope.
I ended up not thinking too much and copying MIT for new things.
My other mod candles_3d claim MIT in readme, but license file says "as-is", I realised it when I wanted to copy paste license to this mod and need to update candles_3d asap. For such trivial code I don't pay attention to license, sorry.
Hi, package is missing a license file. It needs to correspond to what is listed on ContentDB.
