I did remember the cauldron after a while.
I got a an exploding green monster - I guess lava can't be worst than that as long as it's not in the first phases of the progressing...
I now have the "one block" surounded by obsidian.
also the second green monster blow me to the water column - I couldn't breath and swim up, ended up drawned.
Is it possible to go up a column of water? (I'm not a good player...)

It's still a race between hunger and getting a furnace, but it's a fair race!
I don't know how to get water or lava...
(I also got two bees nest in a row - instant death - took me a while to figured what happened.) I'm gonna try it - New World!
Played a few times - always die of hunger... never got a sappling. trees?... any hints?
I got a chest and I can't progress. ob_reset says: Oneblock node still occupied.
