I like this modpack and its simplicity. However, I have some issues with it.
The regular guns like the rifle and shotguns do not have an indicator of when they can be fired again so I'm always guessing on if my next click will shoot or be blank. Something like an animation or distinctive reloading sound would help in this area.
The hitech guns do not shoot, even after being charged with the Technic blocks. They will say they are fully charged, but they will not do anything. They worked before, but now they are chargeable decoration. What could be causing this? I don't recall doing anything drastic with the mod.
So much variety! I was surprised to see yet another mod with customizable tools in ContentDB today! I was even more surprised to see it allowed creating battleaxes, great swords, bows and crossbows!
However, I was a bit disappointed to not see any hoes considering the bronze, mese and diamond hoes were recently removed and those sets now feel incomplete. I liked having the bronze set because it bridged the gap between stone and steel kind of like the metal ages. I was hoping to see the hoes in the mod since melterns doesn't have them. I see they are in the to-do list alongside spears. I can't wait for both!
Will you eventually add diamond variants?
The mod support is amazing too! Will there be support for the draconis mod in the future with the dragon bone, and dragonhide tools?
Criticisms from greatest to smallest:
The sword blade and plate recipes conflict with each other. Both use the same recipe so if I want to make a gold plate instead of a gold sword, I'm out of luck. This is the case for multiple metals both default and in mods.
Many of the weapons like the greatswords, bows, crossbows and battleaxes do not appear in the creative inventory even though axes, pickaxes and regular swords do appear. They only appear in the crafting guide which is how I found out about those other weapons.
I love the variety, but I do find the textures kind of flat like the tool textures from older versions of Minetest. This is a visual nitpick though and is nowhere near overshadowing all the work you have done in creating all the variations and supporting various mods.
Melterns crashes when I place a bucket of molten metal in the metal caster with everness enabled. Fluid lib also crashed when I tried to place the fluid transer pump between the metal caster and melter with the wide end attached to the metal caster.
It's cool to see a mod with different types of weapons for Minetest. I really like that the player speed adds to the throw.
A recent problem, however, is that it has started crashing the game in the most recent mod version(v3.1.1). If this is fixed, I would recommend a download.
Ever since I flew the Super Duck, I wanted a non-seaplane version and this is perfect! However I've discovered an issue with the crafting. The plane parts for this use the same recipes and are essentially the same parts as the Super Duck, but with different names. This means you craft one of them but can't craft the other. Then the Super Duck parts can build the Super Cub without the floaters which is weird. I think a good solution to this would be to combine the two mods and have them use the same parts(plus floaters for the Super Duck). This would also have a bonus of having 2 planes in a mod instead of two separate mods with 1 each, then you don't have to maintain the same code twice. Win-win! :D
Anyways these are the best plane mods I've played with and I honestly recommend them to anyone! These would fit perfectly in an airport. A future vehicles modpack with Apercy's mods would make any world more fun! I seriously love the work Apercy has done with these vehicles!
The mod had crashed when loading the world. The debug text mentions volcanoes.lua:126:attempt to call field 'parse_lines'(a nil value). Traceback goes to volcanoes.lua:126: in main chunk.

I've seen Minecraft mods that do this but I never thought Minetest could have anything like this.

I find it very fun to blow up larger areas with this mod! The same result would take too much work from the standard tnt blocks.
