This mod is really awesome and helped me in vanilla Minetest, but I would change some things.
First of all, I would add a grindstone to remove all enchantings. EDIT: Added and works just awesome!
Secondly, I would add the possibility to enchant books and to combine them with mese crystals or something else.
And after all, I would make it less overpowered for stone and wood. We can just dig down tree trunks with a fortune 3 axe and we have infinited wood. Same with cobble.
And please, after the update with the item overlay came out, make a compatibility layer or so to put that overlay on already enchanted items, because that would be really cool!
I really like NodeCore.
NodeCore's unique mechanics are just cool.
But please add a wooden mattock. (I know, there is already a mod for that, but it should be vanilla)
When I first installed it, I said to myself "oh, flying up and down could be cool".
After crafting some rockets and glider (really cheap, btw) I tested it. MUCH more better than mineclone's elytra (btw, really complicated to launch and big problems for small computers) and nice flying. Also, it hasn't something like tool wear, so it's kinda overpowered.
Must-have for explorers!
Nodecore is a really great game.
The only thing I wish would be a wooden mattock (example implementation at the same-named mod).
Or do you explicitly want the people in the early stages not to have mattocks?

At the moment, this mod looks quite promising! Making fire and "cooking" water with steam creation seems cool.

This is a really cool mod for saving 12.5% of inventory space (mattock combines pick and spade, so 1 slot less) in the early stages.
I really enjoy it and it would be cool if we could add that to the vanilla game.
