I noticed that signs would not display accent characters, so I decided to regenerate the place-name lists and filter any that contain anything other than alphanumeric, quotes, dashes, and spaces. I also limit the lists to 5000 entries. Only wetlands results in fewer than 5000 entries (~2500). If anyone wants the original files and the scripts to extract, just ask and I'll zip/mail them to you.
