Well, there are some servers running with it successfully, you could try it on ClownLand, Mercurio, Dog of War, Your Flight, etc. Server lag is a problem for entities in general, you know, specially when we have true lag machines working on a server. But in general my vehicles mods isn't planned for server steps bigger than 0.1 , maybe it could be the problem.
This is the parachute I've been waiting for a long time. I almost decided to do it before. With this one, we can all jump from the Ju52 to a real skydive!!!

If I could sugest something:
- Change the key to go with the ship down to "sneak" instead "aux", is more intuitive as you use jump and sneak to use a ladder.
- You could make a formspec associated to right click to show some options, like to start the engine and go offboard the airship.
- An engine sound, when you make the start/stop function.
- Increase the time to make curves, to improve the immersion. And reduce the friction a bit :)
In addition to being a great addition to any minetest world, the way the processes are described makes the experience very immersive.

To create a fighter, I need it to be more maneuverable. In order to perform a roll or a looping I need the camera to follow the object's rotation. Without that it is simply a penury to control a fighter. If the devs give me the camera I need, I will create the fighters. And it will be fun.
I have to test what the impact of a lot of passengers attached to one flying entity in a server. But one thing I know, I'm limited by the speed, but I can try...

It have nice animation and sound! And using with climate API the wind sound effect make it immersive.
To select the country flag is a bit strange and depends on luck, punching the flag until you see the desired flag, but the result pleases.

The pilot can bring you to copilot position, the pilot menu have the option to select any passenger as copilot :)

And I was thinking of making a WWI fighter plane to hunt dragons from Draconis mod. But the camera api blocks any work at this moment :(
