This mod changes leaves to render bushy instead of boxy. I have tested it with Minetest Game, Repixture, NodeCore and Mineclonia, so it should work with MineClone2 or MineClone5.

Such a simple change, but works wonderfully for making leaves look nice! Suprisingly trees with snow on them don't actually look that odd?

Idk why but it seems to require a lot of processing power to play with this mod. when i get near a jungle my fps drop to single digits and crashes after a while

I found that this mod is the reason for the crash client under Windows. Tested in singleplayer and on one Russian server (with admin help)! I have tried several clients under different systems: win7/win10 x32\x64 ver 5.6.0 , 5.6.1 , 5.7.0 Maybe the reason is in the Minetest, I do not know.

Simple but wonderful mod, makes the trees feel so much more alive.
A different concept
I really liked this mod. The bushy leaves are advantageous over boxy as they are kind of opaque, have uneven hitboxes. I am saying that it is worth to be tried and these properties might help in making a trap.
