Fun extra trees to spruce up the world
pun intended I enjoy this mod in my worlds. I enjoy using the different woods. I also like to see these giant trees growing in my world. I tend to hollow out the trunk of the Sequoia tree and ladder up and built tree houses in it. Definitely recommend this mod.
I just love this mod
This mod is really amazing and very interesting to try out. Many of these trees are damn big, I could build a survival base in them. The trees grow everywhere adding a lush like landscape everywhere. Then in creative inventory you have the fat growing saplings which grow trees in an instant. They are really worth a try. But it lags a lot at first as too many trees have to grow at the same time.
I have a suggestion for you that could you add some other trees too, like mango and dark oak tree.
Adds beautiful and diverse trees
This mod adds a large amount of different kinds of trees and wood blocks. It really livens up the landscape. It's truly a LARGE number of trees. Each tree has a different growth pattern, so that each is a unique challenge to completely cut down and harvest. That can add a lot of challenge and depth to the game. Really a great mod, both aesthetically and in terms of balance.
However, the new wood blocks added by the mod can not be used to craft fences. A small annoyance, as you can still find stands of stock trees to harvest for your fences.
Be aware that these trees spawn in places that would otherwise be plains! Plains will become much more rare after installing this mod. If you require plains, perhaps this mod is not for you.
Definitely recommended. Adds so many lovely trees, especially the sakura! I even found lemon and orange trees whilst exploring my world.
Question: Can you use the fruit from the trees to plant new trees at your house? Is this achieved by simply putting the fruit in the ground?
It is good, I have looked through the files, and it can even grow these trees in mgv6. Name another mod that does that that came out recently. Now, the textures blend well with vanilla MTG. But, I never really liked the complete lack of a palette and the harsh contrast on wood planks. If you like vanilla MTG, but want bigger and more trees, this is your mod. If you want anything else, this might not be what you are after.
