The world makes good use of biome mods to create an interesting looking world. A simple but modern crafting UI like that of Repixture's would be a good fit. As it is there are just too many recipies shown when the player starts and that spoils the exploration a bit.
The animals did not make noise, not sure if this is intentional.
Regardless, I would recommend anyone try the world and give feedback!
Nice work, Wuzzy! I've played a few hours and it was fun to explore and craft. The NPC traders are a welcome touch. I'm looking forward to your mobs refractoring!
Some might consider vanilla ice cream as "plain" or "lacking" but true vanilla ice cream is made with a rare spice that is wonderfully balanced in a way that is uniquely pleasurable while being harmonious with many other flavors. Minetest Game (MTG) is very much analogous to this, lending itself as a base for many mods or a testing platform. One can find much pleasure in simply exploring landscapes, hiking about picking mushrooms, lazily boating the calm waters or delving dark and often dangerously precipitous caves!
This is a great api for getting mobs into your game quickly!
If you have an idea for a mob, this will take care of all the basic function and also has some added functions to easily extend mob behavior! It is well maintained and reported bugs are squashed in a timely way!
