well, it's not a secret that voxel games are looking familiar to LEGO, and not a first mod/resourcepack/etc that makes blocks/nodes look like LEGO, but still it's the first minetest mod that does something like that!
TIP: if you want to place node with studs on top of other node with studs, then you need to point accurately on center of that node (to avoid placing on studs). if you will try to place node while pointing on studs, it will just place it 2 nodes above (so it will be like node-air-node instead of node-node) or in place where you're standing.
Use of potentially offensive stereotypes and racially insensitive.
Minetest is a game played by gamers of all ages from all around the world, this mod works very well and it is exactly what I had been hoping for to add to my server, but on testing I found there to be racial stereotypes such as you might find in a 1970's exploitation film.
That's the complaint out of the way and off my chest, now for the serious question, is it acceptable for me to try to tweak the mod by replacing skins and maybe some names?
I would suggest that any future updates might work toward this goal, as the mechanism mod works perfectly, placing dwellings around the map, some occupied, some not.
I just wish it was currently suitable for the wider audience.
Its useful for getting materials you need without having to do a lot of mining. I did notice though when crafting gravel it gets rid of the bucket altogether instead of just replacing it with an empty bucket.
Otherwise I haven't run into other issues.
Good alternative to default textures, but not perfect
you see, there're MANY color problems (like green dandelions, blue steel, etc) and it has too much green and blue colors
currently most of them fixed, but not everything (btw, i'm trying to fix it in my PR for this texture pack)
it isn't so mine¢raft-alike: colors mostly don't match with MC ones, forms of items (e.g. carrot, apple, ingot, meat textures, etc) are illogical and not MC-alike, but aesthetic is mostly here
after tweaking this TP a bit by manual recoloring and replacing some textures with _alt ones (for example: netherrack, water texture...) it looks nice and can be used as a really good alternative to default MCL (PixelPerfection) or default MTG textures
but if you dunno how/are too lazy to do this and recently switched from mine¢raft to minetest/mineclone - don't use refi, use mtg4mcl or alt_tp
Added this to one of my servers. I was surprised at how handy it is, definitely exceeded my expectation. Great job but I hope an English translation would be available since the tip sent ingame when trying to use the staff is in Spanish.
Makes early-game a bit more tidy since once you can make a hopper, you can just put everything from your recent mining trip inside and take advantage of the 4 output slots that furnaces in minetest_game have.
At a glance one would think that this is a perfect modpack. I felt that way for a very long time, but recently, I've had a change of heart.
The style doesn't match any other mod. Everything's sorta round, but most mods are pixelated.
It relies very heavely on moreblocks - and keeps dropping features by moving them into moreblocks. If you don't like that mod, you will have a hard time avoiding unknown nodes everywhere as they keep moving things away from it. Update: see the stair_complaining branch on their repo. There's not much talk about merging this branch upstream.
There's so much stuff that the maintianance is very taxing on the devs. They (temporarally, at time of writing) can't even craft some things because of conflicting crafting recepies with their very own mods. This is just an example, but this sort of problem is likely when the mod can't get the type of care it needs from a small amount of developers maintaining a huge amount of features.
I should note that there are plenty of things to love about this mod still (ignoring above issues)
It's still great for building.
It innovated new ideas into the modding community - and inspired mods like laptop to come into being.
It usually plays very nicely with other mods - especially mesecons. Gotta love turning on your lamp with mesecon logic. :)
If you are looking for my complaints about wsor here, they have been removed in reflection of an agreement for peace between us. I figured removal would be the nice thing to do.
It resembles Thor's Mjlonir. It is surely overpowered, and I love it. But I have a suggestion would you add an optional dependency of lightning mod so that when we smash the hammer of power lightning strikes there.
And I have a question, how can you hold the hammer in both the hands
Adds a new challenge to the game, plus the popping sound it super satisfying. Sometimes I will place a bunch of blocks and break them just to hear it. Thank you.
Spamming symbols like comma, and semicolon in the filename when saving causes that number of errors to spam user clients, and can be used to create massive table entries inside the file listing that are moderately broken. This can be used to crash clients and fill the memory of the server potentially. If writing functions into the table inside the file name this issue or another bug might be able to call on the arbitrary function data from elsewhere in the server's LuaJIT addon subsystem execution environment. Creating a restricted file name length may not solve the issue, as mods and custom setups can create shortened global variables which still allow execution of the assigned functions. Multiple laptop mod machine memories can also be harnessed to distribute the amount of code needed for exploitation. Simply shortening file names might not be a solution.
I love your mod. But I have one suggestion. Please add belts, pulleys, gears and wheels. It is a good decor mod, functional mod. I thought that using this I can create a working car of mine
I am not good at perlin. Hence this mod could have been bad for me. But it is not. I would say it is cool. If you try it at y 3000 it is a good place. I guess the perlin noise generator made beautiful terrain. I loved it and if continuation and loop process is followed(Not a feature to be added) a beautiful fractal the mandlebox can be created. Hence this is a cool mod
Leave a few of these around the streets and let people go through publicly designated trash; or keep one in your house. My only complaint is that it doesn't have pipeworks support, but the pipeworks mod has its own trash can for that purpose.
This mod makes ore nodes, e.g. iron ore, drop ore beans instead of themselves when dug.
Raw ores can be smelted into bars, e.g. smelting raw iron ore beans results in an iron bar.
Also 9 raw ore beans can be crafted into a raw iron ore beann node players can build with.
I recently started a new game with all the Wilhelmines mods enabled. Minetest never felt so alive. Every biome is populated with different people and animals, usually fighting each other. Villages enhance the starting map and traveling is a pleasure. Mobs for Nether and floating islands are a big plus to make them interesting and extend the immersion everywhere.

I really like this inventory mod. It's intuitive, feature rich, and everything is accessible as soon as you open your inventory. My favorite feature is the waypoints system and the ability to visualize the area around a waypoint. It also has a very nice look to it. I also like being able to see my character when I open my inventory. My only criticism, and this is mentioned in the mod description, is the 9-slots-wide inventory as opposed to the Minetest standard 8-slots-wide inventory. When you open a chest, some items in the bottom-right of your i3 inventory grid are not accessible. To access these items, you have to move them up and to the left in your inventory. This extra column of slots also means that when you open a chest, your items shift to the right one slot on each row. If you keep your i3 inventory visually organized, prepare for that organization to break during the time when you open a chest. Overall, it's not a major inconvenience once you figure out how the items shift and which item slots are not visible from a chest view. EDIT: As noted in a reply below, the inventory view can be adjusted.
Have you ever wanted a way to show off a bunch of your cool items without having to take up a whole wall with itemframes/pedestals? You need look no further
I really like this animal mod. The models look great and the AI is pretty good. However, I do have one issue. For some reason the chickens are not laying eggs. I have two hens and a rooster in my house and after a very long time, no eggs have been laid. What am I missing? Furthermore, I searched through the chicken.lua file, and I can't find any code for the chickens to lay eggs. Maybe it's just me, but I'd like my chickens to lay eggs. Haha.
nice idea and mod
Nice mod , but you got the idea from skipthetutorial right? nice mod anyways
Interesting mod!

whoa drem
whoa its drem from minecarft
Shader fulfillment
The thing missing while applying skybox and Sharpnet texture pack is fulfilled by your mod. It looks like Minetest is being played with GLSL shaders
This glitch happened
My character was distorted while I was walking like his hands were over his head, legs in the waist.
Surprising
Added this to one of my servers. I was surprised at how handy it is, definitely exceeded my expectation. Great job but I hope an English translation would be available since the tip sent ingame when trying to use the staff is in Spanish.

Great mod. Recommanded. :)

Thanks and well done !

It's simple and pleasant
It improves the asthetic and at the same time is optimized for pvp. The best all-in-one pack that i can use in any gamemode. (Definitely recommend)
Cool

Crazy game
I thought the nuclear bomb would be disappointing. I was wrong.
I liked it, very good mod
It helps a lot in construction, it adds the block pointed with the mouse to the player's inventory when he clicks on it in creative mode.
